Suge Knight, the co-founder of Death Row Records, has launched his own podcast from prison. The podcast, titled Collect Calls with Suge Knight, is a weekly show that features Knight holding phone conversations with his longtime friend and Breakbeat Media CEO David Mays, as well as other guests from the world of hip-hop and beyond.

The podcast debuted on Halloween 2023, and has since released over 30 episodes. On the show, Knight has discussed a wide range of topics, including his beefs with rivals, his time at Death Row, and his thoughts on the current state of hip-hop.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Mays said that the podcast is designed to give Knight a platform to tell his own story. “He’s been a very misunderstood figure,” Mays said. “This is a chance for him to set the record straight and share his perspective on things.”

The podcast has been met with mixed reviews. Some critics have praised Knight’s candor and honesty, while others have criticized the show for being disorganized and rambling. However, the podcast has been consistently popular with listeners, and has generated a lot of buzz on social media.

Whether you love him or hate him, there’s no denying that Suge Knight is one of the most iconic figures in hip-hop history. His podcast offers a unique opportunity to hear his side of the story and get a glimpse into his world.
