Originally from Bellport, Long Island, Gregg Sharp has returned to the entertainment game after six years. An executive producer, investor, movie writer, and director are all roles he has played. However, being a father is his most important role. After taking time off to nurture his family, he appeared back on the scene in 2022.
Gregg launched G2F (Garage2Fitness LLC), back in 2020 and it started as a health club for fitness. After some time, he made a lateral move into the industry turning his fitness club into a multifaceted entertainment company, G2F Film and Television Studios. He started this year with a bang by making ‘Born to Hustle’, set to be released in July 2023. Gregg didn’t do this by himself though.
He partnered up with Curtis Elerson, the well-established owner of One Shot Productions, and the talented director and actor Trae Ireland, on this project. Gregg also had the pleasure of working with dynamic actors and actresses such as Quinton Aaron, KD Aubert, Miguel Nunez, Jr., Glenn Plummer, and MC Ganey. Having to work with talent on that level to create is unmatched.
The rest of 2023 is looking up as Gregg has quite a few more productions in the works that will soon be released:
- Trapped (solo project)- a psychological thriller due to be completed by late Fall/early Winter
- Filming of the World Series of Arm wrestling (Season 2) competition with Season 1 to be released in July 2023 on the TubiTV channel
- The Biohacker MD- a television series based on innovative science for quantitative in qualitative life; currently in production
- Filming Bikini Showdown in Fort Worth, TX- a competition for bikini models in the Texas area
- Got U – a full feature film partnering once again with Curtis from One Shot Production
As far as distribution goes, Gregg (G2F) offers the opportunity to place works in distribution vehicles, and to shop pitches to networks and other larger entities. His ultimate goal is to be very strategic in starting with smaller projects and working up to the larger ones. Back in 1998, he first started making films in Syracuse NY. Many of them never got released but he has a plan for that.
Since Gregg now likes the way the market is moving, he plans to increase the span of his company span and reach. He wants to build on and or create multimillion-dollar projects. In the next five years, he expects his company to operate on a larger scope and spectrum of work in the higher echelon of entertainment.
