Early Tuesday about 2:35AM a 911 call was made by multibillion dollar tech company Cash App founder Bob Lee as he suffered multiple stab wounds in San Francisco outside a luxury apartment complex. Help arrived but he died in the hospital.
This unfortunate incident has left so many people confused and hurt.
“Our dear friend and colleague, Bob Lee passed away yesterday at the age of 43, survived by a loving family and collection of close friends and collaborators,” the CEO of Mobile Coin Josh Goldbard said in a statement to CNN.
It is no question that he left this world too soon and so many questions surround the incident. It happened in Rincon Hill. Apparently San Francisco law enforcement is under scrutiny as random homicides are at an all time high since the pandemic with a rise of 20%.
Bob had been working as the Chief Product Officer at Mobile Coin and pursuing new ventures in the world of tech.
Elon Musk has commented on the incident, “Many people I know have been severely assaulted. Violence crime in SF is horrific and even if attackers are caught, they are often released immediately,” his tweet said. “Is the city taking stronger action to incarcerate repeat violent offenders Brooke Jenkins?”
